Exciting news!! "The Statement" has won an award! Manitowoc Co, atrisan show at the Rahr West Museum began on Sunday Aug. 15 and runs through til the end of Sept. "The Statement won the Artist Choice Award. This project was a collaberation with Mike Morris.Thanks Mike for all of your hard work!!
The Helm of the USS Platte. The USS Platte was the longest running ship in the history of the Navy. It has 11 battle stars from WWII, 6 from Korea, and 5 from Vietnam. With all of that it never lost a sailor.
I was commissioned to give the helm it's final resting place. The design of the stand in mine.
This carving of Mother Goose needed a place to be displayed. We're not sure as to the age of this carving but there are some whom have stated it to be turn of the century. The base was my design and it is made from coffee wood and finished in an oil and wax finish.
This box is made from spalted maple, cherry, rosewood, tiger maple, and bubinga. The entire box was made on the table saw.
This a banister that is a replica of the 1850's. It was a great opportunity!
